Statement of N.G .Michaloliakos for the meeting of Tsipras and Erdogan

The prime minister of Greece was obliged to answer to the audacious threat of Erdogan regarding the ''complete implementation of the Lausanne treaty, meaning the demilitarization of the Greek islands of Aegean.

According to the Lausanne treaty the state of the islands of Aegean should be identical with the state of the Straits and Dardanelles. so, Mr. Tsipras should have demanded the demilitarization of the Straits.

Additionally, the Turkish by violating the Lausanne treaty have extirpated the Hellenism in Constantinople, Imbros and Tenedos. Any retreat at the national affairs is unacceptable and Golden Dawn denounces the submissive policy of an alleged Greco-Turkish ''friendship'', which never existed.
