New Democracy: the ‘right wing” does not exist anymore…Article of N.G. Michaloliakos
Article of Secretary General of Golden Dawn, Nikolaos Michaloliakos, at the national newspaper “Empros”
It is evident that the terms Left side and Right side do not have the meaning that used to in the past. Many years ago, Grivas Digenis had written in the Newspaper of Hites:
“We are the RIGHT wing of the far right side regarding the guard of our national traditions and the protection of our national sovereignty and our national demands. Yet, we are also the LEFT wing of the left side regarding the fair share of goods. We are in these two extremes, in nationalism and in social justice…”
Golden Dawn embraces completely this approach. But in order to return to the current political situation, our Movement belongs to the populist right side, to all these Greeks who remain irreconcilable to all the national affairs without accepting the monstrous logic of the capitalism, expressed by the ND.
On the other side, our Movement also embraces the Patriots of the Left side, who deny the “new left side” of the antinationalist. Yet, some persons of New Democracy attempt to plunder the National and Populist Right Side.
The reporter of the newspaper ‘Kathimerini” Mr. Iordanidis answers to all of them: “The myth of the Right”: The truth is that the right side is separated from new Democracy. Kyriakos Mitsotakis represents the whole political party. None of those who represent the “right wing” in the internal of ND has any chance of survival outside this political party. The “new right side” in Europe does not include in general anticommunists. The new right side is sceptic towards E.U. and extremely nationalistic. The supporters of memoranda, the admirers of troika do not represent the “left wing” in ND. They are just political neurotics…”
In our Homeland, the national political party of Golden Dawn is nationalistic and sceptic towards European Union, so these “political neurotics” should stop their mendacities. At last, they should realize that they belong in a liberal center political party, a fact that neither their leadership nor their strategic deny.
