N.D. will continue the memoranda policies-Article of N.G. Michaloliakos

The surplus and the interview of Mitsotakis at the newspaper: “TA NEA”

In the newspaper “TA NEA” the interview of Mitsotakis was in the front page, under the title “I WILL ABOLISH THE KATROUGKALOS LEGISLATION”. However, the subtitles are far more interesting: “I will aim for the governmental majority” and “I will demand the reduction of the goals regarding the surplus”. However let us see the true meaning of the words of this politician:

Question: Your entire program is based in the reduction of the goals for the surplus. What makes you believe that you can persuade the loaners to change these terms?

Kyriakos Mitsotakis: “Our entire program is based in the implementation of a radical wave of changes which will make our economy competitive and the state more functional, offering protection to everyone  and especially to the citizens in need. As for the surplus, I have stated before that I shall try to reduce the goals, established by SYRIZA. And this will happen when Greece becomes trustworthy again. In simple words, when Greece will become a friendly destination for investments, with a stable tax system and more functional and rapid public services.”

So, while the newspaper “TA NEA” claims that Kyriakos Mitsotakis will demand the reduction of the primary surplus, in reality the chairman of N.D. states that he will ask for it. “Demand” and “ask” are two different verbs for sure.

However, even most important is when Kyriakos Mitsiotakis will ask for the reduction of the primary surplus, since there is no word about the abolishment of the surplus. When will he do it? According to him, when the economy becomes competitive again, when Greece becomes a friendly destination for the investors, when public services become more functional…When, when, when…All these terms need a lot of time to fulfil, and it is extremely doubtful if he will ever achieve all these, in order to demand, no, to ask for a reduction of the primary surplus.

At this point another issue emerges. If Kyriakos Mitsdotakis reduces the taxes, then how will he be able to reduce the primary surplus? Nothing but empty words…He continue the SYRIZA policy, a harsh memoranda policy. What Mr. Mitsotakis seems to not understand is that the people who may vote for him, will note vote for him because they believe him, but because they want to punish Tsipras. Wrong way! The only right way for the punishment of this corrupted regime comes from the Nationalistic and Revolutionary Vote!
