COMMISSION OF 2% FOR NEW DEMOCRACY AND PASOK FROM SIEMENS CORPORATION!! IS THERE ANY DISTRICT ATTORNEY PROSECUTING?
It has been ten days now since the press published the testimony of the president of Siemens corporation Mr Christoforakos. According to this testimony, Mr Christoforakos
admits that his company was giving bribes to Greek political parties.
The bribes were not only to PASOK and New Democracy, but also to a smaller parliamentary party of the right wing. This smaller party was Samaras' "political spring".
We consider with great scepticism the fact that in any other case the whole justice mechanism would be activated immediately, and yet for this big political scandal we haven't heard a word so far.
Is it really not a crime for any political party to get commissions from a foreign company, where the company in return was receiving contracts that undermined the Greek people?
The time has come for the justice system to prove that is really independent and free and this could be only with instant research and prosecutions. Direct prosecutions after having proved that Siemens corporation harmed the Greek people according to the official parliamentary committee in the amount of 2 billion euros.
Will this prosecution will ever take place? Will an investigation ever take place? Or is it correct for this country to be called the home of the scanadals? Finally is there a prosecutor to start investigating without any interventions from above?
Or to be more specific the political leadership have given specific orders for a phoney investigation for the great scandal of Siemens?
