Apart from the sculptures of Parthenon, there is also Venus de Milo
The demand of Greeks for the return of the sculptures of Parthenon from the English gangsters of that era, who stole our national legacy that is now placed in the British museum, is fair.
Yet, they have not only stolen the marbles of Parthenon and the mayor of Milo deserves congratulations, who announced the decision of the municipality of the island of Cyclades to demand the return of Venus de Milo, a work of art of peerless beauty, which is placed in the museum of Louvre, at Paris.
As he announced, at June 11 a public event will take place in Milo with the collection of signatures for the repatriation of Venus.
The goal is the collection of one million signatures in order for the issue to be discussed in a session of the European parliament.
